This is our first game jam project! Happy to have joined GMTK Game Jam 2024!
Play as an oxpecker bird! Feed on the parasites and unwanted pests on the back of a hippo. Feed and grow to eventually betray your hippo friend and feed your endless hunger!
Controls:
WASD - Move
Collide with prey to consume and grow!
M - Mute Music
N - Mute SFX

i feel like the stuff you eat spawns to slowly when u scale very large but i like the theme
Thanks for checking the game out! I agree with your feedback, we ran out of time to balance the spawn-times out more, but it should definitely be faster towards the end!
